At Titiaka Boressa Ltd., we specialize in the production of high-quality organic shea butter, crafted using traditional methods and enhanced with innovative, eco-friendly practices. Our production process is deeply rooted in community empowerment, particularly focusing on rural widows and women in the Upper East Region of Ghana.

We work closely with over 3,200 women across 105 community groups, equipping them with training in shea nut harvesting, processing, and quality control. Through our Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA) program, these women gain financial literacy and access to micro-financing, allowing them to invest in their families and small businesses.

Our shea butter is:

  1. 100% organic, free from chemicals and artificial additives.
  2. Ethically sourced, ensuring fair compensation for all women involved in the production chain.
  3. Multi-purpose, ideal for use in cosmetics, skincare, and culinary applications.
  4. Sustainably produced, with initiatives to reduce fuelwood usage through the introduction of climate-smart cookstoves, and agroforestry practices that support environmental conservation.
